Here, I have drawn a storyboard of my planned shots for my music video. After each drawing, I have written some notes about the shot including where it will be filmed, the type of shots it includes, the action in shot and any extras such as effects on the clip. I decided to draw a storyboard so that I could start to plan my filming. This will help me so that I know exactlty what to do and don't miss any shots out. I also put it in the correct order so that when I begin to edit my footage, I will know which shots go where and if they need effects put on them. I decided to cover the whole length of film rather than storyboarding a single section because I now know what I need for the full music video.
From this planning research, I have learnt that it is very important to plan your shots, as it is necessary to record all of the required shots. This is because when filming at the different locations I may have limited time and not very available actors. My storyboard itself shows repetition of shots, variety in types of shots and a range of locations for interest. I'm glad that I did this planning because the logistics of organising the shots required alot of consideration as it is extremely difficult to recreate the same shots at a different time and day.
